Mark is the CEO and founder of Hollicom. Most of Mark’s career to date has been spent working in media. He sat on the board of FTSE 250 company Trinity Mirror Plc (now Reach Plc) as COO responsible for some of the most famous news brands in the UK. He has also been MD of Mirror Group Newspapers and at 36 was the youngest ever MD of the Daily Record and Sunday Mail. He works on communication strategy development for all Hollicom clients. Mark is also a former Chair of Scottish Athletics. He’s run nine marathons and admits that the tenth is probably not going to happen. The head is willing but the body refuses.
Steve is the CFO and co-founder of Hollicom. A chartered accountant, Steve worked for PWC Newcastle before moving into industry and senior roles in manufacturing and engineering in North East England. Over his career to date he has participated in a number of corporate deals before growing each of the businesses and completing successful exits. As well as Finance, he is responsible for IT , HR and assisting with strategic development of the business. Steve loves golf and skiing, but regularly loses his ball in the snow!
Associate Director (Luxury Brands)
Katie has almost a decade of experience in communications, starting her career in museums and heritage with National Trust for Scotland, before embarking on seven years in broadcast and digital media at Scotland’s best watched TV channel, STV.
She worked as a feature writer and social media producer, before joining STV’s in-house marketing agency, where she successfully led key campaigns, producing on-air promos, cinema trailers, radio and outdoor advertising. She joined Hollicom in early 2020 bringing a passion for storytelling, brand development and pickles (on everything) to the team.
In his spare time Ken teaches Tai Chi Quan and is a longsuffering supporter of Motherwell Football Club.
Heather has a wealth of experience in media – PR, communications, broadcasting and creative services. Based in London, she worked with some of the world’s leading bands and brands during her time at EURO RSCG KLP, and for more than a decade Heather was a TV and radio broadcaster.
A passionate environmentalist, her ‘Say No to Plastic’ campaign in 2007 gained worldwide recognition, she’s raised £350k for 17 Scottish charities and most recently spearheaded a global campaign to tackle single-use plastic pollution caused by contact lenses.
Heather was lead video producer for five years with Reach plc, the UK’s largest publishing company delivering integrated editorial content, commercial films and behavioural change campaigns for retail, third sector and government bodies.
A dedicated Francophile, Heather will watch (or eat!) anything French. She also loves positive social impact projects and recycled fashion, Heather is brimming with big ideas and vintage sequins.
Client Services Director
Rachel began her career in TV production but a move to London agency Launch is where she found her passion for PR and honed her skills. Since then Rachel has worked on the media strategies and relations for many of the UK’s most loved brands including charities such as The Royal British Legion and Comic Relief.
On her days off Rachel can be found chasing after her two year old daughter in one of Glasgow’s beautiful parks. She has addiction to buying scatter cushions and likes to unwind with a glass of dry rosé blush.
Head of Social Media
Becca joined Hollicom in 2020, having previously worked as digital marketing manager for a group of Glasgow’s best-known hospitality venues, focusing on social media management, paid advertising, content creation and photography.
Becca has created integrated social media & PR campaigns for, Brewgooder, SWG3, Anti-sectarian charity Nil By Mouth, The Why Not? Trust, LGBT Youth Scotland, and has most recently worked on The Beatson Cancer Charity Santa Dash.
A strong advocate for mental well-being, she enjoys her time off indulging in developing her creative skills as well as adventuring around Scotland with her 4-year-old son and trying out the latest vegan food Scotland has to offer.
Murray joined Hollicom in 2021 after working in Public Diplomacy with NATO in Brussels. A political geek, he works with corporate and B2B clients on corporate communications, stakeholder engagement and digital communications. His experience with start-ups, charities and the public sector make him a great addition to corporate accounts.
With a First-Class degree from the University of Dundee in International Relations and Politics and an MSc in Political Communication underway at Glasgow, Murray is keen to bring the best practices of strategic thinking, psychology and creative copywriting to his communication planning.
Luke heads up our sister company, Classic Run Events and is currently helping to build a portfolio of road running events around Scotland. He is also one of the UK’s best distance runners, ranking an impressive third on the Scottish all-time lists for both the 10km and Half Marathon.
The wealth of experience Luke brings to this role comes as a result of many years competing around the world in running events. Luke now balances his training with a full time professional life in the events sector, he loves running so much that his lunch breaks usually consist of a quick 6 mile jog along the River Clyde before lunch back at his desk!
Social Media Creative Lead
Siannon is a visual artist and content creator. A graduate from Glasgow School of Art with a first class degree in Fine Art, Painting and Print Making, she brings an informed eye and creative styling to social media marketing.
She developed her craft as a freelance social media manager within the hospitality and sports sectors. In her spare time Siannon curates traders events as one of the team behind Glasgow’s much-loved Park Lane Market, where she collaborates with fellow artists and musicians. With an increasingly expensive manicure habit, she has landed the coveted role of resident Hollicom hand model.
Eilidh joined Hollicom in 2021. A graduate from Edinburgh Napier University with an honours degree in Social Sciences specialising in Psychology and Sociology, she brings a strategic sociological approach to her understanding of brands, audiences and consumer trends.
Having lived and studied in both Edinburgh and San Diego as well as travelling around Bali, she has discovered some of the best places to eat, drink and experience all around the world, bringing a passion for gastronomy and the finer things in life to the consumer team. A social media enthusiast, she has been persuading the whole team to download TikTok from the moment she joined.
Diana Quintana Catano
Social Media Marketing Assistant
Diana is a Latin American visual artist who gained her degree from the prestigious National University of Arts in Argentina where she specialised in the Sociology of Imagery and Digitalisation.
She has a long history in studying and teaching social communications and audio visual productions.
Her work with NGOs and foundations in visual projects and information dissemination have allowed her to develop graphic and pictorial communication strategies with different audiences through research. With advice and contributions for publications sponsored by organizations such as UNICEF Colombia, Diana has managed to participate in project productions for training and teaching new educational strategies in the history of the arts and aesthetics at the National University of Arts in Bueno Argentina and the Recoleta Cultural Centre.
Diana joined Hollicom in 2021 and has been in Glasgow for two years ( one in lockdown! ) and is looking forward to exploring everything Scotland has to offer with her young family.
