Indie Fair at the Square: Kimpton Charlotte Square give small businesses a window on George Street for Christmas

Kimpton Charlotte Square Hotel are hosting their first ever Christmas Market for independent retailers on Sunday December 5, 2021, giving local crafts people and retailers a window on George Street, one of Edinburgh’s busiest shopping streets this Christmas.

From their position at the heart of Edinburgh’s New Town, Kimpton Charlotte Square Hotel has a prime location on George Street, a favourite with Christmas shoppers who frequent its line-up of upscale boutiques, chic bars and cocktail lounges throughout the festive season.

Indie Fair at the Square will see pop-up stalls from local crafts makers and independent retailers exhibit in the luxury hotel’s Gallery space between10.30am and 6pm on Sunday December 5, with ‘Meet the Maker workshops’ throughout the day introducing the hardworking faces behind the featured brands and encouraging guests to get creative and be sustainable this Christmas with their gifting. A Baba Noel bar will serve up festive cocktails with a twist from Kimpton Charlotte Square’s acclaimed Middle Eastern restaurant, Baba.

Some of Edinburgh’s coolest small businesses are taking part including Summer Morning Studios who make ‘candles too pretty to burn’, Leith distillers Lind and Lime Gin and Olivia Cooper Jewellery, a demi-fine, sustainable jewellery brand and many more.
