One of Hollicom’s best known travel clients have scooped a prestigious award in a leading industry awards event.

Barrhead Travel in Falkirk has scooped the top agency award in Scotland from the industry’s leading travel magazine, Travel Trade Gazette (TTG). 

The team of fifteen local employees celebrated their award win with a virtual Zoom party but say they hope to celebrate in person again when restrictions allow.  

When the pandemic hit in March 2020, the Falkirk team supported thousands of customers with rearranging travel plans. Despite the challenges that retailers have faced, the travel agency is looking forward to reopening its doors to customers in late April.  

Store Director, Greig Avinou, said that community support has played an important role in their recovery and that the team was excited to be back on the high street later this month along with other local businesses.  

“I’m delighted our team have won this amazing award and have been recognised as the best travel agency In Scotland. Our highly experienced experts have been working tirelessly over the last year to support our clients throughout the pandemic. 

“We aim to deliver firstclass service and we’re looking forward to continuing to help all of our customers over the coming months. With holidays on hold since last year, we know everyone is really looking forward to getting away on holiday when it is safe to do so and can’t wait to help our community organise their dream trips. We hope to welcome everyone back in-store very soon.”
