Blythswood Square Hotel are supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a special celebration for all Scotland’s “Pink Ladies.”
The hotel has created a unique “Pink Lady” cocktail and will be showing a special 40th anniversary screening of “Grease” all in support of Breast Cancer Care.
The “Pink Lady” cocktail will be on sale throughout October with £5.50 of the £9 price being donated to Breast Cancer Care. Created by the Salon Bar the cocktail combines Tanqueray gin, lemon juice, creme de fraise, egg white and sugar.
The special screening of “Grease” takes place on Friday 12th October at 7pm in the 44-seat private cinema at The Blythswood. With unique Harris Tweed designed luxury chairs it’s a great way to watch one of the greatest musical movies of all time while raising money for a good cause. The screening is even more poignant given the fact that Olivia Newton John is herself a big supporter of Breast Cancer charities given her personal history of fighting the disease.
Tickets cost £25 per person (plus booking fee) with £20 from each ticket going to Breast Cancer Care. Ticket price includes a Pink Lady Cocktail Masterclass, Popcorn, Pink Canapes and a Spa Goody Bag.
A spokesperson for Breast Cancer Care said “This is a great fund-raising initiative from the Blythswood Square Hotel team. It’ll be a great night and we are hopelessly devoted to everyone who buys a ticket to see this fabulous film.”
